I used to use Harris bipods and they worked great. But age caused my to go another direction. The past 4-5 years I’ve used a Coyote Jakes shooting bench. I believe they were sold to another company.
This is a bench with attached seat. The seat and bench top swivel independent of each other, 360 degrees. It’s the cats ass, in my view.
I use a Caldwell adjustable front rest and rabbit ear rear bag.
My brother has same set up. We set up 3-500 yards apart and shoot 360 degrees except toward each other.
I shoot for an hour or two at a spot and then move several hundred yards and do it again.
Usually I’ll try to park my truck over a hill out of sight.
When I move locations, I’ll toss the bench in my truck, move to a fresh spot and grab a couple rifles and fire away.
Going in ten days and can’t wait!
