That's the very reason I've never been into squirrel hunting with a .22 rimfire. Our archery deer season and squirrel hunting seasons overlap and since most all archery deer hunters hunt from concealed tree stands or ground blinds and wear camouflage clothes which would make them difficult to see if they were in the line of fire beyond a squirrel, especially when thee's still leaves and greenery present. Granted, the odds of something bad ever happening are extremely slim but it still isn't worth the even a minuscule risk to me.
