The Ohio F&W web page explicitly names the rifle cartridges that are legal for deer hunting in Ohio. And apparently the list is updated as new cartridges come on the market.
Just asking... Given that they explicitly name the legal cartridges, are you still allowed to use a wildcat that is not on the list, if it fits the former case length criteria ?
That law changed. Now if it is legal for a pistol, it is legal for a rifle. Basically 35 Cal min, straight walled, there is a min length that I don't remember exactly but 9mm parabellum is illegal and 38 special is good to go.
