Same thing and two remedies have helped. Primer flash hole uniforming and mounting the stem with an "O" ring so it floats. The uniforming creates a bevel that guides the pin into the hole. Floating allows for minor differences in cases.

I have not broken one since I started doing this where previously I broke three in short order.
