Congrats on your ox +++!

I bowhunted muskox on Victoria Island, NWT (out of Ulukhaktuk...was called Holman) in late August of 2016. Was a great time with the Inuits, joking, giving each other grief, etc. Muskox are ice age throwbacks and really neat to see run around and herd up, etc. Got a decent bull, saw about 20 muskox total. Saw an arctic fox, arctic hares and a lot of geese. We drove up from BC to Yellowknife to add to the adventure. 24 hour drive and saw some great bison in the NWT.

There was also a cruise ship docked at Ulukhaktuk that had started in Anchorage and was due to end up in NY city, about a 30 day cruise, for $20,000 to $100,000 per person. They would only let 20 cruise ship tourists at a time visit town so as to not inundate the locals. Word was the local craftsmen had their best day ever with over $40,000 in sales one day.
