At one time, I had several rifles that were made prior to 1900, a 1866 Springfield 50-70, and a couple of 1891 Argentine Mausers. I never shot them, and knew that all they'd ever do would be take up space, so I decided I'd rather have something I would shot, so I sold them......a decision I've sometimes regretted.

These days, my oldest rifle is a 1906 Winchester 22. I looked up the date of manufacture once, and can't remember now, but it was an early made one. Next would probably be a Remington 241 Speedmaster, or an M1 Carbine.

As far as other guns go, I have an 1893 Winchester pump shotgun, and an old 12 gauge double barrel Essex with the Damascus barrels.
