Moved in here 4 years ago. Tackled a large stone patio project on my own with my wife and kubota tractor. Think we went through something like 34 tons of stone and aggregate. Its taken some work but got my native prairie grass growing pretty well too. Kind of can let things go these days and the grass keeps filling in and getting taller. Few pics of the progress.

I typically let the prairie grass go all summer and fall. Mow it in March to knock down the fire threat. Switchgrass, Indian Feather, Big Bluestem, Prairie Sand Reed, some shorter varieties mixed in.
