Cookie came along and snapped a few pics.

Central Oregon's largest spring creek. Gin clear, temp varies about 2 degrees F over a year, and averages about 48 degrees. One will not last long in the water without waders. Rainbow and Bull trout, but the fish are extremely well educated.



Rainbow - Nothing for scale, but about a 24 incher, and no it did not come to hand.


A Dipper


Not too colorful, but entertaining to watch when they get to work. Always amazing to see them walk along the bank or a log, suddenly submerge completely, and then emerge again 5 or 10 ft upstream.
