Why? The Ruger 77 Hawkeye is a hell of a lot better gun for the money, has a 1-in-9" twist for .223 versions from the get-go, no half-assed hanging magazine, a non-epileptic safety, no goofy-ass high bolt lift problems, scope mounting is pretty straight forward with an integral mount system.
