I’ve owned 2 NULA’s and a Forbes, I’m pretty sure Melvin told me he made the NULA so that it would share the same scope mounting contour as the Remington 700 because it’s the most popular action made. I could be mistaken, but I’m almost positive that’s what he had told me. A quick call to Melvin tomorrow would clear it up I’m sure.
