+1 on the wipe downs. I also have a log book for all the guns and if a gun hasn't been out of the safe for 6 months it gets a wipe down and check over. Note the date in the log book for that gun so if it ain't getting used it gets another wipe down/ check 6 months later. That was when I had more safe queens so I had to be careful. Thinning everything out in retirement but it's nice knowing that you won't regret forgetting about anything in there.
