This reeks of State Department meddling, no doubt by entrenched traitors left over from Bush/Obama years. Kowtowing to the increasingly Islamist Turks to keep them as NATO members or whatever the reason is folly. That's an exaggeration of their role, but their tribal leaders did conduct genocide against the Armenians, mostly for profit from confiscation of lands. THAT WAS THEN, and this is now, and the Kurds were allies. I can't see how any ally of this country can trust us anymore.
