Interesting you claim they did have issues with crooked barrel assembly though. Didn't they have precision equipment for that? Or was it just when a cross eyed alcoholic rushed through a few on Friday afternoons? You claim a competent gunsmith could fix it, so that implies an incompetent gunsmith caused the problem in the first place. But as far as misdrilled screw holes, impossible, as you say. uh-huh


Yep, I OWNED one. It shot decent with adjustable windage bases offset to accommodate the wonky screw holes.

The WSMs I was able to use detachables on both guns with the same scope and rings. Could switch the scope back and forth between the 7WSM and the 300WSM, and the POI would be within 2 inches. In that regard, those were way better.

Ruger had a run of LH guns a few years ago with visibly bent barrels. But, they acknowledged it and made it right. Still should have never gone out the door.
