Bummer! But glad no people were harmed in that event. We only have deer and elk, but I have a serious roo guard on the front of my rig. It works quite well, as a lady in a van center punched us a couple yeas back. It put the front end of her rig even with the windshield (seriously totaled). Did bend our bumper a bit, but never touched any portion of the pickup body.



One time, just outside of Burns (how many stories start like that?), I watched the mini van in front of me drill an angus steer in the middle of the night. Could not figure out what was happening for a second, then I saw a couple other black cows on the side of the road. Fence was down or a gate left open I guess. Nobody injured physically, but they were shaken up in a major way. That was before I had a cell phone, and it sure would have been handy.
