My mom's family settled there in the 1840s, back when Texas was still Comanche country. Small community named after them there, but I have been unable to tell if it will be displaced by the lake. I don't think so but not sure. Have a bunch of long-lost ancestors buried in the cemeteries. I hope they are not displaced but maybe so. Don't care much about the fishing but NT needs the water. Not a big duck hunter, but from reading the article, I suspect it should create good duck hunting, which would be good.
