I counted Steve among my friends too, but only knew him the last few years. He was a Gentleman of the First Water, and generous to a fault. His stories, and the delight he took in telling them, will stay with me for the rest of my days on this mortal coil. I miss him terribly.
I had to wait a couple days to post here as my eyes started misting over every time I sat down to do this.
We're celebrating his life tomorrow with two of his favorite things: beer and soup!
