I'll give two pieces of advice for buying cordless tools and batteries off of ebay.

#1: Always check the serial# or date code on the tool or battery you're buying so you don't buy VOS (very old stock) batteries. If the seller doesn't have the picture on the auction then request it, if the seller refuses move on to the next best deal.

#2: Only buy the name brand batteries, off brand are often a great deal but they are often hit and miss for quality.
