H4831SC is my huckleberry in my Wby UL 280. It shoots under 1/4 moa with 140 AB’s @ 3000 fps. The gun is accurate with IMR 4350 too.
A 140 @ 2900 won’t bounce off a Whitetail. I understand wanting to squeeze a certain velocity from your loads. After taking a truck load of W.T.’s & Axis with 2800 fps averaged commercial loads I eventually had to admit that speedy loads didn’t kill them any better than not so speedy loads.
