I got to 2900 FPS and the 160 gr. Speer with IMR 7828SSC but accuracy wasn't all that great. I tried some long discontinued Winchester WMR that I have a fair supply of and got 2910 FPS with 3/4" groups using the Speer old two core Grand Slams. The load is intended for elk. Frankly, even the 7828 load would have sufficed for an elk hunt considering most of my shots were at 200 yards or less. I just like that WMR load better.
