Notice that my Featherweight has the Fullfield II, my .270 has the Fullfield e1. Nice group, 180 grain bullets.

I didn't notice anything. Did you post pics yet? You are right about the fullfield II. It is a classic fit on my pre 64 model 70's. I pretty much run those on all my hard use hunting rifles. Dual dovetails and FFII is always what I suggest to people looking to scope their pre's. The new E1, not so much. It has a fn terrible reticle. Can't stand it. I punch a lot of paper with my rifles too, so that reticle is pretty annoying... More pics of the FFII dd set-ups:
