I bought the 4.5" when they first come out. First time out I loaded 5 mags with a variety of loads and then tried mag dumps while limp wristing, holding on their side ganksta style change holds mid mag while firing etc. Not a single jam or failure of any type. My glock 20 sf would often fail to feed and was sensitive to limp wristing.
I sold the glock 20 this spring and bought another Xdm 10 with the threaded barrel, tall sights, and vortex venom on it. I still haven't shot the XDM's much but not a single failure so far. They're acurrate and fit my hand better than my g20 did.
After a little more testing an Xdm may spend some time with in bear areas instead of my 329pd. I never got to that level of confidence with my glock.
