I am ALWAYS ready for drilling-porn. I would love to see some pictures.

Charles Daly imported quite a few drillings in 38-55 and in 30-30 around the turn of the century, many being Sauer sidelocks like this one (I was an IDIOT to have sold this sidelock 16/30-30 drilling!). It could also be a Linder, which is even better.

The Sauers first came as hammer guns, but they later went to a side cock for the rifle hammerless design. It's a great design. The left side cocking/selector lever can be held down while pulling the trigger and let up slowly to un-cock the rifle and de-select it. These used the back trigger for the rifle. Almost all other drillings use the front.

PICTURES PLEASE... wink wink laugh
