I kinda wanted a six-lug version once. Could never get myself to pay the money for one vs other rifles at half the cost. If I had seen one at that price, I’d probably woulda bought it.

The 300 Wby is a 9 lug. I had wanted the trimmer 6-lug version in 280.
Yeah, I can see that. They are about a pound lighter.
6-Lug version weighs 5 ¾ pounds; 9-lug version weighs 6 ¾ pounds
