I've only owned one .257 Weatherby and it was in a 700 CDL-SF. I liked everything about that rifle except the accuracy .. or I should say, lack of accuracy. It was a 3-4 MOA rifle with factory ammo and with my handloads. I think a .257 that would shoot accurately would be pretty special. Mine wasn't.
