One of the pluses for me is a Ruger rotory magazine that has been converted for .22 shorts. It handles the CB shorts very nicely. Though short range, they aren't much louder than some pellet guns and don't require a stamp. They'll shoot through a squirrel head most of the time which gives the results I'm after.
