The 700 long action mag box is 3.700"....the installed 223 spacer measures .450"....giving me a 3.25" mag box length.
My loaded rounds are right at 3.00", leaving me a quarter inch of leeway.

Quick question. I've installed a spacer in the mag box and I'm still struggling to get my LA 6.5 PRC to feed. Did you install a different follower spring after you shortened the follower or use a different spring? If you used a different spring what type did you use?
