15 months after the Angel Gabriel appeared and six months after Johns time of birth , 15th day of Nisan (the 1st Jewish month),
The 15th day of the 7th month begins the Feast of Tabernacles (Lev. 23:34-35), also known as Sukkot.

thus some propose Jesus was born on the 1st day of the Feast of Tabernacles! In the year 5 BCE, falling in the month of September.


I have heard it said that the "manger" was actually a sukkot or "tabernacle"......not a stable for animals. Would make sense and fit in with other scenarios.
