Born in KY in 1964. Grew up there in a family of old school Kentuckians. I chose to roam the world, no place in Kentucky can be considered Gods country. Born there, raised there, left for a reason. It's a big world out there. I have walked all over eastern Appalachia and found nothing to keep me there. Seen baptism in a creek, poor people on a couch on the front porch waiting on the government check. Remember the shootings that occurred in the coal fields when people crossed the lines. Nothing but hard times there. Cornbread mafia? I probably have drank more with them than you can imagine. Not going back to that, there is a better way out there.
