I think they just break down over time. Had a couple do that. And I’m not big on cleaning guns.

Several rifles stuck to the carpet of my gun safe, damn near pulled the carpet out.

Haven’t had any trouble with the newer Air(maybe) models.

I had a Kimber 22 butt pad stick to the carpet, and looks melted where it stuck. Any suggestions what pad to go to that won't soften and stick?
