Their Model designation IS = Remington 700 LSS (which I think stands for/designates Laminated Stock Stainless).

For clarity my two Remington 700 LSS's have the "shiny" gray laminated wood stocks which are very pleasing to me.

The synthetic smooth stainless would be it. Didn't know for sure if they were made in SA standard bolt face. Thanks for the reply.
