The one that makes me smile every time was a trip to a local lake with Dad. We were finessing walleyes when I hooked a monster northern. After what seemed like all day (6# line) the fish is tiring and Dad gets the net into the water. I'm leading the fish in when he sees the net and does a 180 with a fantastically huge splash. Dad gets soaked. Talk about madder than a wet hen! Closest I'd seen him come to loosing his cool but I managed not to laugh. I miss the old guy.

Which explains a lot.
