The 25-06 and I continue to get along just fine.

115 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip over Retumbo, one shot at 355 yards:


I've had the rifle quite a while now and it's done real well on pronghorn, mule deer and the occasional coyote. Used Mule Deer's load with H4350 & 100 gr Barnes TSX for a few deer. Tried the 115 Berger VLD for three mule deer, it worked well. Switched to the 115 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip and have stayed with that bullet. Nice combination of accuracy, expansion & penetration. The 25-06 is just a peach of a cartridge! So easy to load, easy on the shooter too.
