Squirrels and woodpeckers entertain me and help me stay alert on stand, along with the flocks of assorted "do-it" birds scratching around in the leaves. I run into squirrel hunters in the parking lot of "my" WMA all the time, but seldom see any with squirrels in hand. I almost always see a bunch when I just sit still for a bit.
