8 twist will stabilize a 70 grain TSX. I could stabilize them in my .223 9 twist with a 26 inch barrel. They will not stabilize in the 20 inch barrel though, I can't quite get enough velocity to turn the RPMs.
DO NOT over look using the little 32-35 grain hornet bullets with Blue Dot. You should be able to get MOA out of them and decently quiet loads that will vaporize small varmints.
