Here's an unusual load for a fast twist 22-250. I bought some surplus bullets at Midway, advertised as 80 gr. Well, they weighed 75 gr. and research showed them to be Hornady TAP bullets for their SBR (short barrel rifle) ammo. I haven't killed anything yet. But at .22-250 speeds, think they'd be pretty destructive. I was surprised at how well they shot. Rifle is a Mohawk with Shilen 8 twist barrel. These bullets are not available for reloaders. I have a couple hundred, got a few from a Fire contributor.

I know, I know, three shot group....
