This Marlin is unfired. I had previously owned a Win94 XTR in .307 Win, but it was too pretty to take into the woods. I am all set up to load .307 (.308 dies with a .30-30 shellholder), and I have several hundred Berry’s 150 gr FN plated that I will load over mild charges of pulldown IMR4895 to break it in with at the range. Then I’ll work up some 130 & 150 gr Speer FN and some 170 gr Nosler PTT RN for hunting loads with RL15 and Varget. I’ll load T/C-Contender-level charge weights to keep that 16.25” barrel from spitting too much fire!

Oh, yeah.... The Ranger Point Marlin Loop Lever is now installed. It’s a nice improvement!
