They did a lot of TIG welding in their assembly and he told us that they employed/trained women to provide the welds because they had found women easier to train, plus had the finesse and attention to detail to provide superior welds in a production basis. They just seemed to have the touch.

I would suspect they also could pay them less but I don't remember us asking or him telling us that.
