CaptArab, that was not my experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my hunt in Romania and am saving funds to go again.
I seem to recall that several centuries ago when the muslims last tried to enter in force, the Wallachians and Transylvanians ran them up on pikes and left them along the side of the road as a warning to others. Perhaps you are still "butt-hurt" from that?
