It was 30 years ago. Still clear in my mind. Mike standing there calmly saying ....”go ahead”

When mike had his arms crossed something was up.

He may be old but he didn’t miss much.

The vise was back and the table to the left.

He knew the guy would want to show off and get it done quickly. God has a sense of humor. Setup was there.

The table going from left to right with the cutter in front of the part.

He got to it and it tried to “climb” over the workpiece.

Weakest link is the fuse in any circuit.

End mills was the weak link.......and they don’t die quietly.

Great shop. Mike had your back. If you screwed up......HE took care of it. If you didn’t do it again he respected you for working to be better and it wasn’t mentioned again.

Learned a lot there.

Las......I’ll be up to Bethel in the next year. Giving machinist lessons.
