Hmmm, and I've beaten several custom barrels in competition with a factory Rem .243 barrel shooting the 105 Horn HPBT. Anecdotes like that really don't prove much. The fact remains that a fast twist and sleek bullet gives the shooter a big advantage when shooting at LR, particularly if there's any wind.
