I recently traded in a S&W Model 19-3, 357 Mag, 4"bbl, (deep blued, pinned & recessed, perfect condition, possibly never fired) for $900.
Scheels re-sold it for $999.) I traded in for a new USA Sig P-210 Target, 9MM, pistol that was on a good sale price. I love this Sig P-210.
I had the S&W 19-3 at a small gun show previously & priced reasonably, for $800. Towards the end of the show I marked it down to $600 - No takers!
I also saw other S&W Model 19's that were not 'pretty' on other tables - priced much higher. They were in no danger of being purchased.
