Who was the guy that BMW bought the bike back from 350k or 450k on it. Let him have whatever new bike he wanted and put his in the factory museum...



Never heard that but awesome gesture from BMW. Also the fuel line are not in the way whatsoever. Everything is well placed and well balanced.
I just adjusted the valves, rebuilt and synced carbs, checked timing, changed all fluids and replaced upper and lower steering head bearings. Back tire has 5000 miles on her so will need replacement in a few thousand miles but other than that she’s raring to go.
