I think the only conservatives the news aired at that time were mainly the various members of the Trump defense crew, but I may be wrong.

I also think the dims gun act that would have prohibited our ownership of semi-autos was due to his excellent defense of our 2A. He was credited to have been the deciding factor in having successfully defended our present form of the 2A.
