I joined the Army in June, 1973. I had a lot of guys who were just back from Viet Nam absolutely hate Garrison duty. Too many rules and not enough common sense jobs and programs. Many bailed out at their first opportunity. Good men who had been tested by battle and the REMF poags drove them out.
