The virus is going to run through the population no matter what we do. It’s only a matter of how fast. Most here will eventually get the Chinese virus and almost all will be fine. Final mortality rates overall will settle to somewhere around two tenths of one percent or about two in a thousand. Almost all who die will be older with other health issues. There is no reason whatsoever to continue the lockdown anywhere but NYC/Northern New Jersey area. It’s also becoming apparent that like most other viruses warm weather slows the spread. Again , open the country ASAP so that it spreads through the summer naturally more slowly so that there’s significant herd immunity by next winter and maximum spread season. Hospitals will be busy this year but it’s time to let the air into the economy before gangrene sets in.
