Very flexible cartridge, a nephew up in MO. inherited a MK-V stainless/syn in 7mm WBY, he had never shot or hunted much at all, I had him order brass, dies and an Uncle Bucks bulls bag, brought with me some Fed-215's, IMR-4350, 120gr ballistic tips and my chrono, loaded up a very mild load with the 120gr BT's to 3200 fps, near zero recoil.
Set him +3 inches at 100 yards, he's been shooting deer to 300 yards for 5 years now, he just kills for the table, he, his Wife and three daughters now love venison, he's sent me several pics over the years, shoots em in the ribs, no wasted meat and always gets an exit.
