I did in fact, a few years ago in Wy. hunting goats...A slow day, worked really well!
From new, my barrel measures a 77thous. increase, so that plus the freebore gives most bullets I use a long jump, and I`m starting to push the limits of the 700 mag. well.
My new barrel will not have freebore, I`ll make up a dummy round, send it to them, and go from there.
Or, maybe not...I`ll see what bites me at the time.
