I used horses for 35 years for field trials. Horses acclimate very quickly to gunfire. I can only think of
one friend that had a horse that would get fidgety when a shotgun or pistol was brought out.

Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times.
Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.
