We used to have some dandies here but we've been in the quiet part of the cycle. We'd watch them roll into the hills 6 miles west of us and pound the crap out of the hills. That's summer grazing land, funny there are no cooked beef sales. Then the high point being straight west, the storm would slide north and pound Rosholt or slide south and hammer Peever or Willmot. Fun to watch, cool on time lapse radar.

What's in a name? There's Hammer, SD nearby but the storms always pass south of there. Hammer never gets hammered.
