Agreed, Lots of people made mistakes in the past. Sounds like he may have really been trying to turn it around. It's what he did that day with those cops that will determine what kind of force was justified. From what I saw and what infos available I agree that he was killed unjustly.

The percentage of cops that are sociopaths is pretty high compared to other professions. The way that cop acted looked sociopathic to me. He seemed completely oblivious to the victim and the people around him. Level of force looked unnecessary and seemed more like an intimidation or retribution tactic. Both sociopathic.

If people want to burn their communities down over it I'd say just don't rebuild there. Then they can complain for years about not having good stores in their communities.
